How are your products made?
Our canvases are designed in house by our co-founder Lilian (no AI ever!!). Inspiration is taken from historical documents and illustration (see product details for details on the original historical designs). Canvases are painted or printed on Zweigart Mono Deluxe canvas. Due to the handmade nature of our products, small variations in color are to be expected.
What’s the difference between stitch painted and stitch printed canvases?
Stitch painted canvases are hand painted by an individual (in this case, our co-founder Lilian). Stitch printed canvases are printed on the canvas directly.
We know that printed canvases can have a bad reputation – we had doubts ourselves when we first began to explore this! We are grateful to have found a printing partner based in the US who uses proprietary technology to ensure that canvas intersections are properly colored. The canvas is scanned prior to printing to account for small variations in where the intersections are located, ensuring that they are perfectly printed. We have sampled and tested our printed canvases to ensure that they are something you will want to stitch.
Both stitch painted and stitch printed canvases come on Zweigart Mono Deluxe canvas.
How do your pre-orders work? When will I get my canvas?
Pre-orders allow you to purchase a canvas in advance of production. This ensures that you get the canvas you want as some product may sell out. We include estimated shipping dates in the pre-order listing and will update you when your order ships.
What comes with your digital charts?
Our digital charts include: a charted version of the design, instructions/tips and color thread recommendations.
Where do you ship?
Currently, we are only able to ship to the US. We hope to offer shipping to more countries soon!
What is your return policy?
All products are final sale. However, if you experience an issue with your product, please reach out so we can try to make it right. We want you to be satisfied with your order.
What colors should I use?
We provide a list of recommended thread types and colors in each product description. These colors usually reflect the colors from the original design inspiration. However, picking colors is part of the joy of needlepoint! We encourage you to experiment or try something that speaks to your personality and preferences. We love to see what you choose and how you make these designs your own!
